It doesn’t sounds so good if I had to sing and play with an electric guitar, plus i’ve just been messing around with the sounds instead of practicing properly. I realized that my chord movements and some other skills is getting bad. So I’ve just been thinking for a long time about getting a simple acoustic guitar to play around.

Since it was the school holidays,  my family came down to KL. I told my dad about it and asked him to follow me to the music store. I took him to Bentley in Mutiara Damansara and tested some guitars over there. Its a nice place to look around for music stuffs over there. So, I was trying the normal acoustic guitars and was pretty satisfied with the sound of it. Then my dad suggested me to get a acoustic guitar with a pickup, which means it can be connected to an amplifier. I tried a few, it sounded well without the amplifier but its really ugly when it’s connected to an amp. Finally, the salesmen who was with me, took a guitar which cost a little more then the previous one and suggested that to me. I tried it, and compared it with the previous one. It sounded softer when i was playing without an amp but it sounds great when its connected to an amp. The only downside would be, i need to use a 9V battery to use the pickups. My dad was satisfied with it too, and we bought it.

I have always wanted an electric guitar, so my mom promised that right after SPM, she would buy me an electric guitar. So I told her the price and waited for it.

But suddenly she had to buy a music keyboard system for her school. So when we went to the music shop, my parents decided to get me my whole guitar set. I bought a Ibanez GRX40J guitar set and a Zoom G1X MultiFX. I was so happy… Now I have the guitar, but I don’t really have time to play with it much. SPM is in another few more days… So I thought let’s just post a simple post about it….hehe..

This is just a little info about guitar picks.

A few days back I just bought this pick called ‘Shark fin’. Although its a bit expensive, the outcome is satisfying. Look at the image below :

This pick gives you a good sound when you use it with normal classical or acoustic guitar whereas if you use electric guitar it doesnt really sound good. Instead of just one tip, this has many tips. So its like stereo instead of mono.

What I would say, why not have it a try yourself ??

I’m not really good at it but O.K i guess.. In the beggining I thot it isnt good because its gonna spoil my fingers but now i dont think so. Its not really difficult to learn it but u must have sum talents i think… I would tell everyone on earth shud get a guitar.. Its sweet when u r lonely or depressed and it really helps to reduce ur tension. I’ve acctually created a site juz for ppl out there to learn guitar. I’ve even created a tuner for ppl to tune it easily and perfectly…. You guy’s download it here…
