Finally I got my own debit card !!

Category: General, Money making

I’ve always wanted a debit card but never managed to get one because I am under 18. But finally I just found a gud one. Its called the Mol Freedom card, provided by EON Bank… Its a MasterCard..

Here’s a picture of it :

Mol Freedom Card

Its not bad, except the card and the activation is high..
It cost me RM 25 ( Card ) + RM 15 ( Activation ) to get my card workin. But after that, no more charges and you pay only what you use. So its cool coz I can activate my PayPal and stuff.

Now I own my own debit card !!

eh.. debit card means you install ur money in the account before using the card is it? so this card can be used to paypal and buy things online?? is it? wah.. nice.. i wanna get one.. any minimum requirement?
[I havent tried on PayPal, but I think can la.. NO requirement, except the following years you got to use the card for at least 12 times so that they will waive the yearly charges. Its quite usefull..less requirements... Visit their site for more info..]

I’m extremely disappointed with MOL Freedom’s customer service. I bought and sent in the application form 2 weeks ago. The customer service person told me the processing job should be completed within 10 working days. Then on Thursday, I received a missed call from them but I wasn’t at home. So I tried to call them back. Sadly, I was passed around from one person to another 4 times and in the end somebody hung me up. Imagine my frustration. Then on the next day I tried to call them again to check my application status. A guy asked for my personal details like IC, contact number, card number etc and say they’ll check and call me back within that day. Again, I was disappointed when I didn’t get any return calls. And wow, ever heard that customer support has weekend breaks? They do. I mean, I’m going to let them manage my money and personal information..How could i trust them in this case? I’m going to cancel my card soon..

[Yea, I had sum difficulities in the beggining too... But after that, it all worked so fine and nice... So I don't think its a bad service...]
