I always thought Blair’s resignation was really a matter of time, ever since he started to groom Gordon Brown. He’s lost a lot of credibility ever since the entire world started perceiving him as George W. Bush’s lapdog.

[Hmm.. We'll juz see what happens next... But for me I guess both of them did a great job]

Blair could’ve have ended his career as one of the greatest prime ministers ever if he did’nt start his 3rd admin. All this Iraq mess has gave him names like ‘warmonger’ and george bush’s lapdog ….Gordon Brown being the current Chancellor of Exchequer is the most likely candidate to take over but not without a fight….But still i think the Labour party are in for a long spell of oppsition come the general election due to losing out to SDP in scotland and probable trashing by the Tories….

Tony Blair will be remembered for his saving the Iraqis from tyrant Saddam Hussein. Iraq is today a liberated country, free from slavery to the “Arabs” ;)

The whole Middle East and North Africa were at one time Christian majority and its peoples spoke two Christian languages Coptic and Syriac. Due to the illegal Islamic invasion and brutal Islamic occupation, which imposed apartheid taxes Jizyah and Kharaj upon Coptic Christians and Assyrian Christians, many Christians were forced to embrace Islam.

Embracing Islam meant changing your “race” and “ethnicity”, so an ethnic Copt and ethnic Assyrian had to become Arab (ie Arabisation).

Its like Malaysia’s “masuk Melayu” policy when a Chinese Christian converts to Islam, he is called “masuk Melayu” and enjoys Malay rights.

Yes, Iraqis are NOT “Arabs” but Assyrians/Chaldeans and their mother tongue was Christian Syriac which is still a liturgical language in the Church of the East (COE). Assyrians are descendants of King Nebuchudnezzer who converted from paganism to Christianity under preaching of St. Thomas.
