Technology is advancing from day to day. Now there’s a new phone offered by TM( Telekom Malaysia). It is called a CDMA phone. This a wireless technology.

CDMA phone is actually a fixed line phone, but it is portable. You can call out using this phone within your area as long its near the TM exchange. It can’t go too far till the next state. But if you are too far from the exchange then you will not be able to make outgoing calls, but able to receive incoming calls. You can even send SMS (short messaging service) through this phone. Unfortunately, currently you can only send SMS to Celcom or fixed line users…

The chargers of this phone is exactly the same as normal fixed line phone’s. Isn’t this a big cost saving product…? I’m not really sure about the exact price of this phone and its start-up price right now. But one thing I know…it’s really cheap…
